Ruby Junction Expansion – Phase 1
Liberty Electric delivered the full electrical package for the Ruby Junction Expansion, which supports TriMet’s light rail operations and maintenance activities. The project upgraded and expanded a high use industrial rail facility, requiring precise scheduling, complex coordination, and reliable integration of power, systems, and controls across operational environments. Work included all electrical distribution, lighting, technology infrastructure, and system testing to support continued service and maintenance functions.
- Installed raceways, conduits, equipment supports, manholes, handholes, and all underground ductbanks.
- Provided all wire, cable, boxes, switches, receptacles, and low voltage power devices.
- Installed disconnects, fused disconnects, grounding systems, and bonding for buildings and substations.
- Provided transformers, control station equipment, vehicle auxiliary power systems, and related power infrastructure.
- Delivered complete lighting systems, including fixtures, wiring, and associated controls.
- Performed systemwide testing, acceptance testing, and commissioning across electrical, auxiliary, and control systems.
- Coordinated construction with active rail operations, facility users, and adjacent work groups under TriMet requirements.
South County Recycling and Transfer Station
Liberty Electric delivered the full electrical and technology systems for the Operations and Maintenance Facility that supports King County’s new South County Recycling and Transfer Station. The work included complete power distribution, lighting, low voltage systems, fiber, security, and fire alarm installations, all delivered within a high-demand industrial environment. The OMF serves as the operational backbone of the site, requiring durable systems, precise coordination, and reliable integration with maintenance and process operations.
- Installed the complete electrical distribution system including feeders, switchboards, panelboards, raceways, grounding, and equipment connections.
- Delivered all interior and exterior lighting systems with lighting controls and emergency lighting integration.
- Built out the full low voltage and communications network including structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure.
- Installed all electronic safety and security systems including access control, CCTV, and related control equipment.
- Provided the complete fire alarm system including devices, wiring, terminations, and testing.
- Coordinated electrical and technology integration with facility operations, process equipment, and maintenance functions.
